Chestnut Cream

Try this Chestnut Cream Tiramisu recipe. It combines the sweet and savory flavors of chestnut and heavy whipping cream. Don’t forget to sprinkle some powdered sugar over top of these sweet treats to make them even better.

Chestnut Cream Ingredients for the pastry:

2 - lbs. chestnuts 1 - cup sugar 1 - cup water 1 - cup whipped cream 1 - Tbsp. vanilla 1 - cup milk1 - Tbsp. Chocolate shavings


1 - In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, simmer chestnuts with milk until soft, about 15 minutes. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water and bring to a simmer until the sugar dissolves.

2 - Drain chestnuts and puree in a food processor with sugar syrup until smooth. Transfer to a medium bowl and chill in the refrigerator until cool, 35 minutes. When cooled, stir in the vanilla, and fold in the whipped cream. Pile in a dish and chill before serving. If you wish, the cream may be garnished with chocolate curls.
